How Much Money To Leave Thailand?
I read all the time how much money people are spending in Thailand and the argument over how much money you need to live in Thailand ends up being the same as how long is a piece of string? The choices of what to spend your money on and the luxuries you need varies person to person so much so that it's a wasted argument. This is yet another reason why i just tell everyone to have 100,000 baht a month because everyone can agree that if you have that much you can be comfortable in Thailand.
I have a friend that always likes to joke around that if he made $20,000 USD a month that there is no way he'd be still living in Thailand, he'd be back in the USA living it up (according to him). Right off the bat I was thinking that $20,000 a month couldn't buy me the same lifestyle that I have in Thailand, just as $20,000 a month in Thailand couldn't buy you the same lifestyle as you can have in the West. The two places are too radically different to really compare.
How many people really make $20,000 a month anyway, the majority of expats in Thailand don't make this much money but those who do rarely if ever stay in Thailand until their dying days unless the source of those funds require a real presence in here. I always tell people you need 100,000 baht to live well in Thailand. So by my mates theory you would need several times more money to afford living back home.
It all depends on where you live and how you live your life but personally this is not enough money for me to want to leave Thailand and go back home. According to the Women's Weekly the average cost of a sugar baby is $3000 a month and that's not really full time, If I wanted two chicks to live with me full time the cost just doesn't seem worth it. But who needs to pay girls to live with them anyway? Well if you're in your 50's or 60's and want a constant supply of 20y/o's sucking your dick every day then paying is really the only way most guys are going to get it, either that or be satisfied with steady relationships with only a few girls.
For $3000 a month in Thailand doesn't really matter the age you are you can still get all the pussy you can probably handle.
The average, I found, is around 50,000 for a decent life (assuming you own a place) and 80,000/100,000 for a real blast without concern. Personally I live very well on 100,000 and never, ever think about money when hunting pussy… stick to the standard 1500/2000 even for sideliners.
If you need 100000 baht a month to live well and the high end hookers are making 3000 a lay, then prostitues in hail and are highly underpaid. In any first world country, high end prostitues make enough a month to live a luxurious life after about 3 lays. A high end hooker in Thailand would have to fuck 33 guys a month just to have a good income. That’s disturbing and it disgusts me how people talk about how 2000 to 3000 baht for sex is good money. It’s peanuts
Yes but what your saying is you know it’s cheap so you should pay more because you would have to in other countries, well would you tell the butcher to charge you more because you can get it for more money in another shop no so Chill out I know it’s a old comment but been reading lots like this all over the website and sick of it you got a bad thing to say here’s an idea don’t read the blog
My friend never pays more that 1500 bath per night. And he gets top class girls.
He can afford a lot of more but question is why should he pay more?
He has list of girls in phone and every night many girl are without theirs boyfriends. It take 3-4 message with offer “you want come after midnight?”
That all what it needed. Just little bit of patience.
Yes, he does not take girls right away when he meets them somewhere but he talks with them first night and later he takes them in the room.
If somebody pays more it is just foolish. Everybody who goes there can pay 10.000 for a girl but WHY? You will need every penny left for your retirement.
America is not the world. Germany is considered one of the most highly developed countries in the world. Sex with a prostitute there costs 50 Euros.
On this blog are stories of men who came to Thailand, blew all their money on sex and then, out of money, their visa expires. The get to the top of a building and kill themselves. Usually, they are American males in the mid fifties. All men need an exit strategy. You need to cultivate both long term and short term relationships where ever you live. You need to network, not just for your earnings (as a man, what are we if we are not providing work?), but for our personal lives. That means relationships and families.
The smart man will cover all his bases. Maybe chill out on some of the awesome low-cost short-time sex, and try to cultivate relationships. A man of means can do two things at once. You do not have to be a wealthy man either. You just have to be personable, outgoing, friendly and resourceful.
Thais are a very spiritual people, and very friendly. If the man takes care of himself, and those around him. If he values himself and others, he will end up with a network of people who will move mountains to keep him in Thailand. He won’t ever need to leave. Doors will open. This not only true in Thailand, but true elsewhere in Asia.
A man needs to be a man. Jumping off a building because of an overindulgence in sexual pursuits without tending to ones most basic needs is a sign of a loser.
