The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Bangkok are running a competition for the person who submits an original photo of what makes Bangkok so great. Your going to have to show the best photo because thousands of entries have been placed and the winner get's an amazing nights stay at the Mandarin Oriental hotel which is one of the top luxury hotels in Bangkok.
Our incredible city, Bangkok, has recently been voted the best in the world by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine and we couldn’t agree more!
To all our FANS on Facebook and Followers on Twitter, we welcome you to submit an original photo of what makes Bangkok so special – it could be a view, a building, an attraction or a person. We want to know why you love Bangkok in pictures.
Prizes
First Prize – 1 night for 2 persons in a Deluxe River View room including breakfast by the river and buffet lunch at Sala Rim Naam restaurant (value THB 25,000)
Second Prize – A voucher for a cooking lesson at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok Thai Cooking School for 2 persons (value THB 8,000)
Third Prize – A voucher for High Tea at L’Espace at Siam Paragon for 2 persons (value THB 1,000)
How to enter
Send your original photo along with a description (20+ words) and your full name to [email protected]. You can enter up to three photographs to the competition.
Photos should be minimum one point five megabyte (1.5 Mb) in size and must be submitted no later than 5 pm, 16 September, 2011.
Our favourite photographs will be posted on our Facebook page and fans are encouraged to show support for their favourite photos by “liking” each image. The photos with the most ‘likes’ will be judged by our Management Team to decide the winners.
Winners will be announced on Facebook and notified via email on Wednesday, 21 September, 2011. Please read the complete Terms & Conditions below.
Terms and Conditions
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Participants must not be employed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, any hotel within the group, or employed by our corporate vendors or partners.
- Three entries per participant allowed.
- By submitting a photo to the contest, you give Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok your consent to post your photo and name on Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s Facebook page and also to use your photo in future material. No copyrighted images may be used as an entry.
- Each participant is eligible to win only one prize.
- Photos must be submitted no later than 5 pm (Bangkok Time) on September 16, 2011 to [email protected]
- Winners will be selected by Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok and notified via email on September 21, 2011. Winners will also be announced by name via Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s Facebook and Twitter.
- By participating in this promotion, you give Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok your consent to use your photograph and description.
- Your participation also grants Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok permission to send future messages to the email address provided.
- All votes from fake facebook profiles or by using ‘Like exchange’ will not be counted and will be eliminated from the competition.
