The clouds in Pattaya

Walking street and beach road it's enough alone to keep your eyes firmly at street level at all times. But then when you get back to the hotel/apartment you start to look up. Sometimes sober though often half cut you stare at the sky and sit back and think about how great life is here in Thailand. Have you done this too?

Pattaya is a lot of things but it's to everyone the same thing. A place you feel alive, when I stare up at the sky and the skyline you just know you're actually living. You just don't feel the same way when your sitting in your boring little cubicle looking at at the sky back home might even look the same (the sky I mean) but you just won't have that feeling that you're actually living.

Sometimes, especially in the mornings I like to watch the sky in pattaya. You could bore yourself to death looking up in Bangkok, if you do get a chance to see past the smog you don't see much at all. If you're in Chiang Mai you see the mountains and the greenery but it's more boring than watching paint dry. But the sky in Pattaya again especially in the mornings you look up and you see clouds forming continuously. They rise up into the air what feels like only meters so close you feel like you can tough them. When you're half cut it often feels magical.

I'm sure there's a scientific reason for the low fast forming clouds in Pattaya and maybe someone out there will explain that. While I can't explain it I can say it's one of those things that make Pattaya what it is. The clouds rise quickly into the air, they float rapidly landing somewhere else. It's like a metaphor for the life of go go girls that come into the industry, they are taken up and quickly taken somewhere else, only to repeat the whole process again the next day.
